The 6th edition of the international forum commonly known as SIAGRO and which takes place every two years in the West Africa region, in 2008 in Dakar, will be the venue of professionals working in the African agro business industry .
As during its previous editions, this year’s meeting will bring together participants from countries in the North and the South whose presence has always contributed to its development.
The following statistics, established after each of its editions, clearly reveal the increase in the number of exhibitors and professional visitors.

SIAGRO 2008 is mainly devoted to the agricultural, stockbreeding and fishing sectors which constitute, for the West and Central African countries, the main resources, enabling their populations to reach food self sufficiency and provide for their needs in terms of financial investment through the revenues drawn from exports.
With that in mind, it will bring together, major producers, farmers, suppliers, industrialists, exporters of such major products as, cereals, milk, poultry farming, fruit and vegetables, oilseed crop, sea food on the one hand, and importers, manufacturers, promoters, financial investors, research and supervisory institution , etc, on the other hand.
